I am a photographer specialized in collage technique and I give shape to surreal and oneiric worlds.
Juxtaposing and merging different media, such as painting and writing, my work become more eclectic and complete, designing a  mélange of 2D and 3D creations.

Human figure is central, but the focus is on the feminine one. In my art pieces the female figure is a dualistic creature: wise but impulsive, hopeful but distrustful, lively but melancholic, fragile but resilient.
I suffer from Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, and this condition, during the years, stimulated my interest and attention into human faults and weaknesses. An introspective sight that allows me to investigate desires, fears, personal memories, and that brings out a deeper awareness of self: this is my starting point.
The creative process for me is cathartic: handcrafting materials, such as prints, Polaroids, carving canvases and paintings helps me focusing and reclaiming my mind, even if the flavor I choose to give to my works is often ironic, self-ironic or even sarcastic.
Nature has a leading role as well: in my collages, I usually highlight the connection between Her and the human.
I have rather animistic vision of life, so Object is one of my focus as well: I conceive it as full of personality, making it an alive and important creature.
I like to apply what I call “censorship of censorship”: taking elements – often intimate, to which I want to give more breath to – out of their natural context, I emphasize details that I want to be protagonists, aspiring in such a way to get closer to the Essence of things.
I believe in Purity and in “unrefined” Truth, but dressed in pastel colors: these chromatic shades shine in my work, because we should look at human weaknesses with more understanding and sweetness. If World would have had different colors, maybe, we would have had different approaches and reactions to Life.

My work is for collectors and lovers of Oneiric. I would be pleased to see the audience develop a sensibility toward these topics through the observation of surreal views that ask the body to whisper to the soul.
